Reminisce is a video collage that explores the juxtaposition of the sacred and the mundane within Bangkok’s landscape and culture.

It highlights familiar scenes and symbols, from lizards, common in local yantra tattoos, believed to attract good fortune, to the colourful and varied plastic stools found at local noodle stalls. The video collage also features recognisable elements of Bangkok life, such as the vibrant taxis and the figure of “Nang Kwak”, another symbol of luck reminiscent of the lucky cat. ‘Reminisce’ aims to capture the artist’s vision of Bangkok’s diverse and captivating character through a series of scenes.

It was first shown at Synapse, the Warehouse (Bangkok), at Yi Xiang International Art Exhibition (Panjin, China) and Phayao Photography Biennale 2025.
