François Langella is a printmaker, designer and curator associated with RDX Lab. His work includes printing, exhibition and book design, and exhibition development with artists and students.

Certain people have been integral to my twenty years in Bangkok, and François Langella is one of them. I first knew him as a neighbour, then as a friend, photographer, art-space host, curator, exhibition-design teacher in my classes, printer and yoga mate.
In recent years, François had been running RDX Lab, offering artists and photographers printing, exhibition and book-design services. I printed several of my own works there and consulted him many times for personal and university projects.
François had been in Thailand almost as long as I had, although his path here was very different from mine. Photographing him in his house and studio in August 2024, a few months before he left to Greece, inevitably made me reflect on my own years in Bangkok. I have only a handful of friends here with whom so much of my Bangkok life overlaps, and I knew I would miss him.
