In my class, the Photography and Film-making students are showcasing their incredible talent this semester with an upcoming group exhibition titled “Residue Exhibition by SUIC Students.” This exhibition features a group of gifted artists, including Apichaya Tengkaoprasert, Atid Teesithichet, Chomtawan Kleuntanom, Jira Vorrarakkul, Nacha Poolsombat, Pann Intuputi, Patthreeya Ritngam, Ploychan Duangdara, Phoenixe Raine Judith Nievera, Rahat Boonwipas, Tana Chirangkanon, Thanonnat Tiyaprasertkul, Thanin Sumethasorn, Veronica Vasfi, and Wimutt Laomoraphorn.
Scheduled to run from the 19th to the 25th of May 2023 at Baan San Saep in Pathum Wan, Bangkok, the exhibition presents a series of photographs that explore the theme of “Residue,” reflecting each artist’s unique interpretation of this concept. This event is integral to the third-year subject ‘Photographic Management, Publication and Printing’ under the Photography & Film-making route in the Digital Communication Design program at Silpakorn University International College. This exhibition showcases their artistic endeavours and their growth and professionalism in managing, publishing, and presenting their work to the public.
