This past weekend, I had the privilege of accompanying three of my thesis students to an engaging two-day workshop organized by Aputure, held at New Pirate Studio on February 25 and 26, 2023. The workshop focused on the transformative impact of LED lighting in the film industry, featuring insightful sessions led by Jimmy Lim from Aputure and the award-winning director of photography, “DP Job.”
Our students were immersed in hands-on demonstrations and learned practical applications of LED lighting. They witnessed firsthand how innovative lighting techniques can enhance film production. The knowledge gained from this workshop is invaluable, offering our students advanced skills they can apply in their upcoming projects and future careers in film.
